Charles Smith is a craft spirits expert who specializes in single malt whiskies from around the world, but that is by no means the extent of his curiosity. Along with a growing interest in wine and tobacco, Charles primarily aims to introduce the broader public to craft spirits - real products made by real people - through which he hopes to enrich the lives of those with whom he interacts. 

Raised a third-culture kid in a military family, Charles himself spent five years as a musician in the US Army. He continues to play music at his church, as well as in any pub that fancies hearing traditional Scottish ballads and fighting songs. He married the love of his life in 2022, and they live in Athens, GA with their cats, Lilibet and Margot.
